I am taking a three week online workshop taught by Kelli Connell through Filter Photo! It is M-Th from 9-11am and you show up as much as your schedule allows. It has been such a wonderful way to start 2026. It’s only day three and I am already feeling very motivated and productive. Highly recommend checking out Filter’s professional development workshops. Jump start your 2026 studio practice with Kelli Connell and special guests Carolyn Drake, Rahim Fortune and Laura Larson. STUDIO TIME is an opportunity to do solitary work in community with other photographers, artists and writers. Whether you are editing images, printing new work, researching ideas for your next project or writing a text for a photobook, memoir, or poetry collection, this online space offers accountability, support and strategies for meeting your goals.
Artists at all levels of their studio practice are welcome to join. This accountability club incorporates goal setting, writing prompts, dedicated studio time, sharing and reflection, and the opportunity to learn about the studio practice of working artists, photographers and writers.
The group will meet for 2 hours/day, 4 days/week, for three weeks (12 sessions total; not mandatory to attend all 12). During each Thursday session, we will be joined by the following special guests: Carolyn Drake on 2/5, Rahim Fortune on 2/12 and Laura Larson on 2/19.
